REQUIREMENTS
ND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission shall be open to all qualified applicants. Candidates must satisfy all School and departmental requirements. They must have not less than five passes at credit level in SSCE, GCE, NECO , GRADE II or NABTEB including English Language and Mathematics. The Polytechnic insists on possession of credit passes in English Language and Mathematics for all categories of students seeking admission. Moreover, each candidate is expected to have a minimum score in the Unified Matriculation Examination (UME).
HND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the general admission requirements stated above, candidates must satisfy the following Faculty/departmental requirements for admission into HND programmes.
(i) All the requirements for admission into the National Diploma (ND) Programme in the relevant field of study.
(ii) A minimum of Lower Credit pass, that is a C.G.P.A. of 2.50 and above in the ND examination in the appropriate field, and
(iii) A minimum of oneyear cognate work experience for ND Diploma, with Lower Credit and above and two or more years for those with a Pass MAY be considered for admission into the HND programme.
