About Mrs. Christine Ejetavwo Aluyi
Pioneer Registrar and Secretary to Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Orogun, Delta State.

Mrs. Christine Ejetavwo Aluyi was born on the 7th of November, 1967. She obtained her First School Leaving Certificate from the University of Benin Staff School, Benin City, Edo State in 1979. She proceeded to Emede Grammar School, Emede, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, for her secondary education and acquired the West African Examination Council Certificate in 1984. She thereafter attended the College of Education Warri, Delta State, and obtained the Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in 1990. She furthered her education to the University of Benin, Benin City, and bagged a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Foreign Languages (French) and a Master of Arts Degree (Translation) in 1994 and 2010 respectively.
Her work experience started from the Delta Printing and Publishing Co. Ltd in 1994 as a Youth Corper and was retained after her service year. She served as an Advert Executive at the Warri branch office, as a Proof Reader at the headquarters at Asaba and as a Senior Adverts Executive at the Warri Zonal Office. From there her service was transferred to the College of Education Warri on the 23rd of January, 2006 as an Assistant Registrar. As an Assistant Registrar, she served in the Provost’s Office as a Personal Assistant to the Provost. In January 2015, she was promoted to the post of a Deputy Registrar, until her appointment as Registrar of the College of Education Warri. Presently, she is the Registrar of Federal Polytechnic Orogun, Delta State. She is the first Alumnus of the College of Education Warri to be appointed as a Principal Officer of the College and now the pioneer Registrar of this Polytechnic.
She is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), and an Associate member of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). She has attended many conferences and training programmes.
Christine has received several Honours and Awards, some of which are, College of Education Warri dedicated Staff award 2015, College of Education Warri Letter of commendation 2013, Pontifical Mission of Nigeria – Golden mother award 2019, and UNIBEN Alumni Association Warri branch –Merit Award in recognition of significant contribution to the branch -2019, Recognition Awards by the Senior Staff Union of Colleges of Education and the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union for her dedicated service to Staff. – University of Benin Alumni Association, Port Harcourt Branch, Distinguished Alumnus Award, 2023, Award of Excellence by the Department of Human Resources, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Benin, Benin City, 2024.
She has served as member /Chairman of very many Committees in her Parish and the Catholic Diocese of Warri, within and outside the College of Education Warri and the Federal Polytechnic Orogun. She is a Patron of the Confraternity of the Catholic Christian Mothers (CCCM), Catholic Sisters United (CSU), Holy Childhood Association (HCA) and Pontifical Mission Society (PMS).
She is a very hardworking, passionate, and dedicated person. She believes that anything worth doing is worth doing well. She is a change crusader. Her marriage to late Prof. H. S. A. Aluyi is blessed with three children.
